Opportunity:

RN - OR Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 4 days per week
• On-call requirement of 1 weeknight per week and 1-2 weekends per month
• Holiday coverage required: minimum 2 major and 2 minor holidays
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Must have diploma from an accredited nursing program
• Required certifications: Georgia RN license (single state or multi-state compact), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from accredited school preferred
• Perform comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population-specific characteristics
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and patient teaching
• Complete mandatory education and professional competency assessments
• Serve as preceptor/mentor for other nurses and healthcare staff
• Participate in evidence-based practice initiatives and performance improvement activities
• Must demonstrate strong critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively
• Basic computer skills and ability to optimize technology for clinical care required
