Opportunity:

Vascular Tech - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Four 10-hour shifts with on-call responsibilities
• 12 shifts per 4-week period
• Must be flexible with hours to meet departmental needs
• Minimum 3 years experience in Interventional Special Procedures in IR, cardiac, or vascular hybrid setting required
• Required certifications: ARRT-CV, ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, or RCIS
• BLS certification required upon hire
• ACLS certification preferred upon hire
• Must be able to work independently after appropriate orientation and competency completion
• Perform procedures in IR, Vascular Hybrid, and Neuro-interventional settings
• Assist radiologists, vascular surgeons, and cardiologists with procedures
• Prep patients for procedures and maintain sterile technique
• Set up equipment and position patients for imaging procedures
• Verify patient identification using two identifiers
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain departmental records
• Maintain stock levels and current licensure requirements
• Provide patient and family education including post-procedural care instructions
• Must demonstrate competency in all aspects of interventional/vascular procedures, patient positioning, and radiation protection
