Opportunity:

RN - OR Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work 4-10 hour day shifts
• 30 minutes call back requirement with on-call per unit requirement
• Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapting to population specific characteristics
• Partner with patients and significant others using appropriate communication methods
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration in fiscally responsible manner
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education
• Serve as preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and staff
• Participate in evidence-based practice, nursing research and performance improvement activities
• Plan for patient care across the care continuum while providing direct patient care
• Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources
• Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact), BLS certification
• Associates degree in nursing or diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Less than 1 year experience required with completion of accredited nursing school
• Direct patient care experience preferred
• Must possess strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and time management skills
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively
