Opportunity:

RN - IR Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work 4 x 10-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call requirement of 12 shifts per 4 weeks
• Must be flexible with hours to meet department needs
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS (within 180 days), BLS, Georgia RN license (single state or compact)
• Complete V-ARU competencies
• Provide pre and post procedure care for invasive, interventional and surgical procedures
• Use critical thinking skills in complex, multiple problem patient care situations
• Transport patients as needed and provide privacy and comfort
• Verify patient ID using 2 patient identifiers and comply with safety protocols
• Complete chart reviews, QA/QC functions, and necessary paperwork
• Answer department phone using proper scripting
• Assist with maintenance of departmental records and regulatory compliance
• Provide patient and family education including post-procedural home care instructions
• Must be able to communicate in English and display positive attitude
• Associates, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
