Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:

• Work weekend shifts Saturday/Sunday from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Must be dependable, accountable and cooperative
• Perform mammography examinations according to department procedures
• Obtain quality diagnostic studies safely and properly
• Perform technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative
• Set up equipment and position patients for imaging procedures
• Maintain minimum FDA/MQSA requirements for continuing education and experience
• Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindicating conditions
• Review radiographic images for clinically acceptable results
• Respond to emergency situations and use critical thinking skills
• Demonstrate competence in age-appropriate patient care
• Maintain first-time acceptance rate of 95 percent
• Complete all studies in RIS with proper orientation, marking, and labeling
• Required certifications: ARRT-M (Mammography), ARRT-R (Radiography), BLS
• Minimum 1 year experience as Rad Tech required
• Minimum 1 year experience in Mammography preferred
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure in fast-paced environment
• Must be detail oriented with capacity to multitask effectively
