Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work weekend shifts Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
• Perform MRI examinations according to department procedures with independent judgment
• Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindications
• Administer contrast media following established procedures
• Review images for clinically acceptable results and release patients
• Respond to emergency situations and assist other technologists when needed
• Maintain patient privacy, comfort, and dignity throughout examinations
• Demonstrate competence in age-appropriate procedures and techniques
• Prepare patients for procedures and understand sterile technique
• Operate patient monitoring systems and all MRI workstations
• Maintain MRI suite in safe, locked environment at all times
• Transport and position patients, apply immobilization devices
• Complete patient charging activities and maintain productivity standards
• Take call when necessary
• Required certifications: ARMRIT or ARRT-MR, BLS certification
• Must have accredited medical technology program education
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required
