Opportunity:

RN - IMC Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM or 1:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Must be able to work various days of the week
• Work every third weekend
• Work minimum 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays
• Must have experience caring for IMCU patients
• Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact), BLS, ACLS
• Associates degree in nursing or diploma in nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Direct patient care experience preferred
• Provide individualized, high-quality care to critically ill patients
• Perform nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Partner with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Complete documentation and participate in bedside shift reports
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
• Mentor and precept other nurses and healthcare staff
• Must possess strong critical thinking skills and ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Required to complete ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education
