Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Take call when necessary
• Perform wide variety of technical MRI procedures requiring independent judgment
• Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindicating conditions
• Administer contrast media following established procedures
• Position patients and operate MRI equipment safely
• Review images for clinically acceptable results
• Respond to emergency situations and assist other technologists when needed
• Maintain MRI suite in safe, locked-down environment at all times
• Transport and position patients on procedure tables
• Operate patient monitoring systems and all MRI workstations
• Required certifications: ARMRIT or ARRT-MR, BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year MRI experience required
• Must complete accredited MRI program or hold ARRT-R certification
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently under pressure
• Must demonstrate competence in magnet safety and pulse sequence parameters
• Knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and cross-sectional anatomy required
