Opportunity:

Vascular Tech - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with 4-10 hour shifts per week
• On-call responsibilities required with 30-minute response time and maximum 14 days per 30-day schedule
• Weekend on-call requirement of 1-2 weekends per 30-day schedule
• Holiday coverage required for 1 major and/or minor holiday based on department needs
• Scrubs are provided
• Ability to float between Vascular Institute, Interventional Radiology, Admit/Recovery, Cath lab and EP preferred
• Minimum 3 years experience in Interventional Special Procedures required
• Must maintain flexibility with hours to meet departmental needs
• Required certifications: ARRT-CV, ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, or RCIS certification
• BLS certification required upon hire
• ACLS certification preferred
• Perform procedures in IR, Vascular Hybrid, and Neuro-interventional settings
• Assist with providing safe, age-appropriate patient care
• Work under direction of Chief Technologist and Vascular Institute Manager
• Must be able to function independently after appropriate orientation and competency demonstration
• Prepare patients for procedures, maintain sterile technique, and prepare necessary supplies and equipment
• Transport patients as needed and provide privacy and comfort for patients
