RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - OR Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts per week
• Primarily Monday through Friday schedule with possible weekend call shifts
• 30-minute call back requirement with on-call responsibilities per unit rotation
• Perform comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population specific characteristics
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and patient teaching
• Must maintain current Georgia RN license (single state) or RN-COMPACT multi-state license
• BLS certification required upon hire
• Associates degree in nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Less than 1 year experience required with completion of accredited nursing school
• Direct patient care experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and customer service skills required
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
• Excellent time management skills and basic computer proficiency needed
