Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Must be dependable, accountable and cooperative
• Perform mammography examinations according to department procedures
• Obtain quality diagnostic studies using proper positioning and exposure factors
• Independently perform job functions with technical procedures requiring independent judgment
• Set up equipment and position patients for imaging procedures
• Maintain minimum FDA/MQSA requirements for continuing education and experience
• Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindicating conditions
• Review radiographic images for clinically acceptable results
• Respond to emergency situations and use critical thinking skills
• Demonstrate competence in age-appropriate patient care procedures
• Operate all radiographic equipment in a safe and competent manner
• Maintain first-time acceptance rate of 95 percent
• Complete all studies in RIS with proper orientation, marking, and labeling
• Maintain documentation to meet ACR Accreditation standards
• Required certifications: ARRT-M (ARRT Mammography), ARRT-R (ARRT Radiography), BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist required
• Minimum 1 year experience in Mammography preferred
• Must have accredited program in Radiologic Technology education
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in team environment
