Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Rad Tech-Cobb-Radiology-Days - Imaging

Job Details:

• Day shift position with hours 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday, and 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM on weekends
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Perform wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative
• Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindicating conditions
• Follow established procedures for contrast media administration when applicable
• Ensure proper patient identification and appropriate marker utilization
• Review radiographic images for clinically acceptable results
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Verify two unique patient identifiers and correct clinical orders prior to procedures
• Demonstrate competence in age-appropriate patient care
• Maintain competency with venipuncture where applicable
• Operate all radiographic equipment safely and competently
• Clean, disinfect and maintain equipment according to infection control policies
• Provide patient education using AIDET communication method
• Complete mandatory education requirements
• Take call when necessary
• Required certifications: ARRT-R Radiography, BLS or equivalent
• Entry level position requiring accredited radiologic technology program completion
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure while participating in team environment
