RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - OR Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, 4 days per week with call responsibilities
• Function as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary perioperative team
• Perform comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapting to population specific characteristics
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews
• Complete timely documentation and maintain respectful clinical environment
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education
• Serve as preceptor and mentor for other professional nurses and students
• Promote evidence-based practice and participate in nursing research
• Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact), BLS certification
• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Less than 1 year experience required with completion of accredited nursing school
• Direct patient care experience preferred
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and ability to function in fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills required
