RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - OR Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work 4 days per week from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Required to take call shifts - 24-40 hours of call in a 4-week scheduling period
• Call assignments are self-assigned in randomized order
• Function as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary care team
• Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapting to cultural diversity
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments
• Participate in mandatory education and population specific education
• Serve as preceptor and mentor for other nurses and staff
• Participate in evidence-based practice, nursing research and performance improvement
• Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact), BLS certification
• Associates Nursing Degree or Diploma required, Bachelor's preferred
• Less than 1 year experience required with direct patient care experience preferred
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking abilities, and time management skills
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
