RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Provide direct patient care in medical surgical inpatient setting
• Perform nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Deliver relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population specific characteristics
• Coordinate safe quality patient care delivery and documentation
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and bedside shift reports
• Complete timely documentation and maintain respectful clinical environment
• Function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies in decisive, composed manner
• Required education: Associate's degree in nursing or diploma in nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• Required certifications: Georgia RN license (single state or compact) and BLS certification
• Less than 1 year experience required with completion of accredited nursing school
• Must have strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills required
• Ability to read, write and speak English with basic computer skills
• Complete initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education
