Opportunity:

RN - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) with approximately 6 cases per day
• Weekday hours with weekend call required
• Perform in open heart surgery and vascular cases
• Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination and diagnostic data analysis
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate activities of team members
• Provide nursing interventions consistent with Plan of Care and standards of practice
• Complete verification of Safe Surgery checklist using service excellence standards
• Record all care information accurately and completely in timely manner
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff
• Prepare operating room for patient/procedure
• Position and prepare patient on operating table
• Serve as communication liaison to family and operating team members
• Perform all circulating duties with efficiency and speed
• Assist in control and maintenance of supplies and equipment
• Computer skills required for patient care delivery programs
• Participate in assigned call as scheduled
• Maintain professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations
