Opportunity:

RN - RN OR

Job Details:

• Work flexible schedule with 5x8 hour shifts or 4x10 hour shifts Monday through Friday
• Call responsibilities required approximately 3-4 days per month
• Weekend call approximately every 6 weeks
• Work in various service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics
• Use EPIC Electronic Medical Records system
• Maintain professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers
• Assess patient needs based on history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate team member activities while executing urgent or emergent interventions
• Provide nursing interventions consistent with Plan of Care and standards of practice
• Complete verification of Safe Surgery checklist using service excellence standards
• Document all care information accurately, completely, and timely in appropriate format
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment for patient and staff protection
• Prep operating room for patient procedures and position patients on operating table
• Serve as communication liaison between family and operating team members
• Perform all circulating duties with efficiency and speed
• Assist in control and maintenance of supplies and equipment
• Demonstrate continued professional growth through goal setting and educational participation
• Computer skills required with knowledge of patient care delivery programs
