Opportunity:

Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:

• Perform 15-20 mammography exams per technologist per day
• Work in 4 mammography rooms and a mobile van
• Must be certified in mammography RTR-M
• Verify patient identification using two identifiers and compare with requisition and chart
• Select and utilize appropriate technical factors based on body habitus, pathology, and body part
• Position patients properly during procedures and maintain attentiveness throughout
• Verify all images have crossed over successfully into PACS and meet high quality standards
• Perform all mammography exams including screening, diagnostic, stereotactic biopsy, and Bone Density (DXA) exams
• Complete annual training and demonstrate age-specific care for patient population served
• Maintain all required documentation and data in accordance with MQSA standards
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of imaging equipment as listed on Competency Skills Checklist
• Maintain acceptable completion time based on procedure complexity and patient condition
• Provide excellent customer service and follow Service Excellence Standards and Core Values
• Explain procedures thoroughly to patients including length, expectations, and desired results
