RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work as a flexible RN across various service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics
• Maintain professional image and provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers
• Assess patient needs through history, observation, physical examination and diagnostic data analysis
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate team member activities while executing immediate directives in urgent situations
• Provide nursing interventions consistent with Plan of Care and standards of practice
• Complete verification of Safe Surgery checklist using service excellence standards
• Document all care information accurately and completely in appropriate format and forms
• Utilize health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff within sterile field assignments
• Prepare operating room for patient procedures and position patients on operating table
• Serve as communication liaison between family and operating team members
• Participate in assigned call schedule as required
• Perform all circulating duties with efficiency and speed
• Assist in control and maintenance of supplies and equipment
• Computer skills required with knowledge of programs used for patient care delivery
• Demonstrate continued professional growth through goal setting and educational participation
