Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Radiology Technician - Radiology Technician

Job Details:

• Float between Darlington Urgent Care and Florence Urgent Care offices
• Perform routine X-ray procedures in urgent care settings
• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Verify patient identification using two identifiers and check requisitions
• Ensure correct procedures by checking charts and prescriptions for exam orders
• Greet patients, explain procedures, length, expectations, and desired results
• Select appropriate technical factors based on body habitus, pathology, and body part
• Position patients properly during procedures
• Verify all images cross over successfully into PACS system with high quality
• Maintain attentiveness to equipment and patient during procedures
• Complete all radiological exams including X-ray, DXA, fluoroscopy, OR exams, portables, and CTs
• Maintain required documentation in accordance with MQSA standards
• Complete annual training and demonstrate age-specific care
• Must complete 24-month AMA approved School of Radiology
• Required certifications: AART, SCRQSA, BLS-AHA
• Maintain professional image and excellent customer relations
