Opportunity:
RN - PCU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts with 48 guaranteed hours per week (36-hour schedules not accepted)
• Every other weekend and holiday schedule required
• Float within Cardiac Progressive Care/Telemetry inpatient areas
• May be assigned aide responsibilities when assistance is needed
• 1:5 patient ratio
• No blocked schedule requests accepted
• 2 years of nursing experience required with Level I or II Trauma experience
• Required certifications: Kentucky/Compact RN License, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS
• EKG test required during compliance process
• EPIC charting experience required
• Telemetry strip interpretation skills essential
• Must be able to initiate and titrate cardiac drips based on patient acuity
• Care for post-catheterization patients (femoral and radial), chest pain, and MI patients
• Black scrubs required
• Seeking hard-working, resilient candidates who manage change well and are social
• 8-week contract length
• 75-mile radius rule applies
• No on-call or callback requirements

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
