Opportunity:

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details:

• Work rotating shifts with 40 hours guaranteed per week
• 13-week contract duration starting February 17th
• Board registration required by American Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) in Cardiac or Vascular sonography
• Current BLS/HCP certification required
• Minimum 1 year of full-time staff experience as a Cardiac Sonographer in a comparable size medical center (500+ beds, Level 1 Trauma Center) required
• 2 or more years of experience highly preferred
• Experience administering Definity required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• All licenses and certifications must remain valid throughout the contract duration
• Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to contract start date
• Requested Time Off (RTO) is not permitted during the initial contract period
• Provide comprehensive diagnostic cardiac imaging for both inpatients and outpatients
• Work with portable equipment available throughout the hospital facility

Facility:

This major medical center operates as a Level 1 Trauma Center with over 500 beds, providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services. The imaging department offers a full range of services including General Imaging, Angiography/Interventional, Nuclear Medicine, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and PET scanning. The facility features advanced technology with portable CT, C-arm, and X-ray equipment available throughout the hospital, plus a dedicated CT scanner in the Emergency Department for expedited stroke and trauma care. The organization serves patients across the entire lifespan from pediatrics through geriatrics.
