Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Trauma ICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts with 36-hour or 48-hour weekly options
• 16-week contract duration
• Float between ICU, Stepdown, and Telemetry units based on facility needs
• Graduate of accredited nursing program required, BSN preferred
• Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS/HCP, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI (or equivalent)
• Specialty certifications highly desired: CCRN, TCRN, SCRN, CNRN
• Must pass EKG exam with 80% or better during orientation
• Minimum 2+ years full-time staff RN experience in Neuroscience ICU at Level I Trauma Center required
• CRRT experience highly desired
• EPIC EMR experience required
• All licenses and certifications must remain valid throughout contract duration
• Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to contract start date
• No requested time off permitted during initial contract period
• Care for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients with various neurological conditions
• Work with specialized equipment including continuous ECG/EEG monitoring, hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation, and specialty beds

This major medical center features a specialized 17-bed Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit with 2 isolation rooms and 2 hemodialysis rooms, operating 24/7 with coverage by Neurointensivists and Neuro Acute Care Nurse Practitioners. The facility serves as a Level I Trauma Center, treating complex neurological cases including post-operative neurosurgical patients, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and various neurological conditions. The unit provides advanced specialized services including continuous monitoring, cooling therapy, and mechanical ventilation support, while also accommodating overflow medical, surgical, and cardiac ICU patients.

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
