RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work rotating shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 16-week assignment duration
• Provide 24/7 inpatient care for adults requiring continuous cardiac and physiologic monitoring
• Care for patients with cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, myocardial infarction, post-procedure cardiac/vascular conditions, pulmonary disease, and other medical/surgical diagnoses
• Manage scope of care ranging from routine telemetry monitoring to high-acuity patients who may require ICU escalation
• Previous experience in orthopedic/post-op care required
• 2+ years staff RN experience in Cardiac Telemetry, Progressive Cardiac Care, or Cardiac Stepdown required
• Previous Float Pool experience highly preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, AHA or APEX NIHSS
• Work with telemetry-trained RNs and Float Pool support for flexible, system-wide coverage
• Care guided by evidence-based practice and ANA staffing principles
