Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Provide 24/7 inpatient care for adults requiring continuous cardiac and physiologic monitoring
• Care for patients with cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, myocardial infarction, post-procedure cardiac/vascular conditions, pulmonary disease, and other medical/surgical diagnoses
• Manage scope and complexity of care ranging from routine telemetry monitoring to high-acuity patients who may require escalation to ICU
• Float as needed to similar/lesser acuity areas including Telemetry, Med/Surg, ED holds, PACU holds
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required, BSN preferred
• Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license required
• Current BLS/HCP, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• CPI (or equivalent) certification preferred
• Specialty certifications highly desired (PCCN, RN-BC)
• Must pass EKG exam with 80% or better during orientation
• Two or more years of full-time staff RN experience in Cardiac Telemetry/Progressive Cardiac Care/Cardiac Stepdown required
• Experience in comparable size/type medical centers (500+ beds, Level 1 Trauma Center) highly preferred
• Compliance must be completed no later than 10 days prior to contract start date
• No Requested Time Off (RTO) permitted during initial contract period

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
