Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work in a 17-bed Med-Surg/Tele unit specializing in epilepsy monitoring and medical overflow
• Fast-paced environment similar to an ED unit
• Patient population primarily includes those suffering from substance abuse
• Patient ratios of 1:5
• Must have 2+ years of recent RN experience
• Must have 2+ years of MS/TELE experience
• Required to draw blood and start/manage IVs
• Expected to work as charge nurse for some shifts - recent charge RN experience required
• Float pool assignment required
• Resume must include EPIC usage for the last 12 months
• Solid black scrubs required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH
• ASN or BSN through ACEN or CCNE required
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off accepted
• Block schedules considered on case-by-case basis
• Interviews required
• Staffing includes 4 RNs and 2 nursing assistants
