RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on a 24-bed mixed acuity progressive care unit providing telemetry monitoring
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6
• Care for medical patients requiring telemetry monitoring and progressive care level patients
• Manage cardiovascular treatment plans involving medication drips
• Provide care for neurological patients requiring frequent NIH assessments
• Handle COVID and other isolation patients as part of patient population
• Float to other units as required
• 2+ years of recent PCU/Telemetry experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Epic and phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months required
• Accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE required
• Interview process required for all candidates
• RTO (Requested Time Off) due at submission with maximum 7 days allowed
• No RTO permitted during first two weeks of assignment
• No block-scheduling requests accepted
