RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Pediatrics CVICU

Job Details:

• Work in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit requiring strong critical thinking skills and ICU skillset
• Provide immediate cardiac post-operative patient care
• Manage inotropic medications and mediastinal chest tubes
• Handle central lines and arterial lines
• Provide neonatal care with advanced airway management
• Operate ventilators and provide family-centered care
• Deliver post-cardiac catheterization care
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Patient ratios typically 1:1 or 2:1 for ICU care and 3:1 for Intermediate care
• Care for cardiac patients requiring both intensive and intermediate care levels
• Patients typically remain on unit until discharge
