RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Provide specialized nursing care for cardiac surgery patients recovering from CABG, valve surgery, and heart transplant procedures
• Care for post-operative lung surgery patients including those who have undergone wedge resection, lobectomy, or double lung transplant
• Monitor and treat patients following esophagectomies and bronchial valve procedures
• Support patients from EP lab, Cath lab, and general cardiology services
• Work as part of a teamwork-oriented unit environment
• Focus on helping patients achieve successful discharge outcomes following complex surgical procedures
• Provide step-down level care for patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical floors
