RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Provide nursing care for cardiac surgery patients recovering from CABG, valve surgery, or heart transplant procedures
• Care for post-operative lung surgery patients including those who have had wedge resections, lobectomies, or double lung transplants
• Manage patients recovering from esophagectomies and bronchial valve procedures
• Support patients from EP lab, Cath lab, and general cardiology services
• Work as part of a teamwork-oriented unit environment
• Help facilitate patient discharge planning and recovery processes
• Monitor and assess patients transitioning from intensive care to discharge readiness
