RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - CCU/ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 20-bed Cardiothoracic ICU specializing in post-cardiac surgery patients directly from the OR
• Titrate drips including sedation medications and vasoactive drugs
• Perform chest tube and line removal procedures
• Assist with patient mobilization and obtain daily weights
• Care for CABG, valve, Ross, thoracic, aortic dissection patients, and all variations of ICU patients
• Manage multiple critical care devices including CRRT, Tablo, Aquadex, Impella, IABP, Heart Mate III, external VAD, and ECMO
• Provide comprehensive critical care nursing for complex cardiothoracic surgical patients
• Work with advanced life support equipment and monitoring systems
