Opportunity:

Technician - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with on-call responsibilities
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• 13-week assignment with ASAP start
• Associate of Applied Science degree or Graduate of accredited Radiology Program required
• 3+ years of experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-VI or ARRT-CV, Texas Medical Board Certification (MRT), BLS
• ACLS/PALS preferred but not required
• Galaxy Blue scrubs required
• Work with ultrasonographic units, fluoroscopic units, CT equipment, Electronic Health Records, and PACS
• Must be able to push or pull minimum 50 pounds
• Must be able to walk long distances and stand continuously for 240 minutes
• Holiday rotation as needed
• Orientation includes virtual HCSS orientation and in-person training at UTMB Galveston campus
• Exposure to occupational hazards including communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, radiation, and hazardous medications
