Opportunity:

Technician - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week (no guaranteed hours for first 2 weeks of contract)
• 13-week contract assignment starting ASAP
• On-call responsibilities required every 4 weeks
• Float to units with similar skill set as needed
• Complete routine to complex body and neuro-interventional procedures
• Provide direct assistance to physicians with all interventional procedures
• Work attire consists of Galaxy Blue scrubs
• Use ultrasonographic units, fluoroscopic units, CT equipment, electronic health records, and PACS systems
• Must be able to push or pull minimum of 50 pounds
• Must be able to walk long distances and stand continuously for 240 minutes
• May be exposed to communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, radiation, and hazardous medications
• Required certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, or ARRT-CV and Texas Medical Board Certification (MRT)
• BLS from American Heart Association required; ACLS/PALS preferred
• 3+ years of interventional radiology experience required (neurovascular and VIR)
• Associate of Applied Science or graduate of accredited radiology program required
