Opportunity:

Technician - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week (no guaranteed hours for first 2 weeks of contract)
• 13-week contract assignment starting ASAP
• On-call required every 4 weeks
• May float to units with similar skillset
• No weekend requirements
• Complete routine to complex body and neuro-interventional procedures
• Provide direct assistance to physicians with all interventional procedures
• Work attire is Galaxy Blue scrubs
• Must be able to push/pull minimum of 50 pounds, walk long distances, and stand for continuous 240 minutes
• Work with ultrasonographic units, fluoroscopic units, CT equipment, Electronic Health Record, and PACS systems
• May be exposed to communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation
• Required: 3+ years interventional radiology experience (Neurovascular and VIR)
• Required: Associate of Applied Science or Graduate of accredited Radiology Program
• Required certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, or ARRT-CV; Texas Medical Board Certification (MRT); BLS
• Preferred: ACLS/PALS certification
• Required orientation sessions: Virtual HCSS orientation and in-person Radiant training
