Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift schedule
• Call responsibilities required as part of the position
• 13-week assignment length
• Minimum Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Must be a graduate of an American Medical Association accredited program in Radiation Therapy
• At least 1 year of related experience required
• Required certifications: Certification in Radiation Therapy Technology by the American Registry of Radiation Therapy Technology, Licensed by the Texas Medical Board in Medical Radiologic Technology, BLS certification through American Heart Association
• Work with Varian and Siemens CT Scanner equipment
• Must have knowledge in anatomy, physiology, clinical oncology, radiobiology, radiation physics, and radiation safety
• Expertise in technical aspects of radiation oncology required
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills with radiation oncology treatment team
• High level critical thinking and problem-solving skills required
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with clinical and treatment teams
• Virtual orientation through HCSS and in-person Epic training required
• Parking available at multiple garage locations with daily rates up to $14.00 maximum
• Overtime available for all hours worked over 40 hours per week
