RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day variable shifts, Monday through Friday (4 x 10 schedule)
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week for 13-week contract
• On-call duty required approximately 10-14 days in a 6-week period with 2 weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
• Holiday coverage possible with late day procedures
• May float between three campuses (Galveston, League City, or Clear Lake) based on needs
• 3+ years of RN experience required
• Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory experience required
• EP trained in hemodynamics and EP Studies required
• Must independently perform circulator, monitor, scrub, and recovery area responsibilities
• Required certifications: BLS through American Heart Association, Texas RN license
• Preferred certifications: CVRNII or higher, CCRN, RCIS, RCES
• Work with mechanical ventilator, IABP, Impella, implants, and EP ablation equipment
• Routine radiation exposure with lead apron (approximately 20 lbs) and protective devices required
• Work in high-stress environment with unpredictable hours
• Must competently identify cardiac rhythms, waveforms, and abnormal ranges
• EPIC charting experience highly preferred
• Black scrubs required
• Associate degree or certificate required
