Description

Required: CRT or RRT, BLS, NRP, ACLS, PALS
2 Years of Recent Experience as a RT in a Level III Trauma Center, Neonatal Experience
RTs will be expected to complete Vent and Bipap management, Draw ABGs, administer breathing treatments. RTs do NOT intubate but will extubate patients.
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the care of patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. They will interview and examine patients to diagnose lung and breathing disorders and recommend treatment. They are responsible for initiating, conducting and modifying diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on patients.
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for managing patient ventilators and artificial airway devices. They will also educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment and recovery.

ProLink Allied Job ID #D-211142. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
