Work Schedule

• Day shifts: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM and 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Four 9-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• No weekends required
• One holiday depending on contract length
• On-call: 1 night per week and 1 weekend every 4th or 5th week depending on staffing

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in interventional radiology with critical care and sedation experience
• Manage multiple titratable drips during angiography and neuro procedures
• Perform patient prep and recovery tasks including starting IVs, blood draws, post-sedation monitoring, completing flowsheets, reviewing medications, and providing discharge instructions

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience, including experience within the last year
• Current certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Critical care experience
• Sedation experience

Required Onboarding Documentation and Compliance

• Proof of MMR, Varicella vaccination or positive titer
• Negative TB test within last 6 months or appropriate follow-up if positive
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Nov 1 - Apr 30), with approved exemptions allowed
• Fit for Duty health statement completed within 1 year of start date
• Drug screen results within 90 days prior to start
• Driver’s license or state ID
• Social Security card
• Core competency exams including OSHA and Joint Commission
• Skill-specific competencies and self-assessment checklists
• Criminal background check (7-year national, including aliases and sex offender database) within 90 days
• Education and employment verifications (minimum 2 employers over 2 years)
• OIG, OFAC, and National Sex Offender searches within 90 days
• Completed I-9 attestation
• Emergency contact form
• Color vision exam (Ishihara compliant)

• Prior travel experience is not specified as required
• Candidates must be able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced interventional radiology environment
• Parking form required for onboarding (to be completed within 48 hours of offer acceptance)
