Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical/Telemetry

Location: New Hampton, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: Every third weekend and every other holiday

Job Description

• Provide nursing care on Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units.
• Work night shift with weekend and holiday rotation as specified.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa.
• Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry experience within the last year.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Resume, skills checklist (within one year), and two professional references required for submission.
• Influenza vaccine is optional but recommended (proof of vaccine, declination, or exemption accepted except in CA or IL).

This position requires a dedicated RN with certifications and immunizations up to date, able to work night shifts with weekend and holiday rotations, and compliant with comprehensive background and health screenings.
