Contract

• 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour day shifts

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• West Virginia license
• ARDMS and/or RVT certification
• Fetal experience
• OB and arterial extremity Doppler experience
• Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Unexpired driver’s license copy must be submitted with the application
• WV CARES required prior to start

Job Details

• General ultrasound, OB, small parts, and vascular ultrasound (upper and lower venous and arterial)
• Starts IVs
• No floating to other areas
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• May be asked to participate in holiday rotation
• 5-shift orientation with a preceptor
• First-time travelers accepted

Work Environment

• 3 ultrasound scanners/rooms
• Average volume: 35 studies per day
• In-house radiologist until 5 p.m.; after that, on call
• No call or standby requirement
• Clean, professional scrubs required; any color allowed
