RN Flex Pool

Location

Hilo, Hawaii

Contract

13 weeks

Schedule

12-hour day shifts
36 hours per week after the first week of orientation
No guarantee of hours

Role Summary

Float RN covering medical and surgical units
May occasionally float to the cardiovascular unit

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Hawaii
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
ACLS
Stepdown experience within the last year
2 years of Stepdown experience
Med Surg experience
CVU - Cardiovascular Unit experience

Preferred Qualifications

PALS
Procedural Sedation
TNCC
ENPC

Unit Details

Medical unit: 77 beds
Laulima surgical acute unit: 18 beds
Cardiovascular unit: 15 beds

Patient Ratios

Medical: 1:6 on days and evenings, 1:8 on nights
Laulima: 1:6
Cardiovascular: 1:4

Additional Notes

Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity
Professional nursing attire; clean scrubs
Orientation is provided for each unit
