Description

Registered Nurse — Cardiac Step-Down / PCU

Location

  • Zanesville, Ohio

Contract

  • 13 weeks
  • Contract employment

Schedule

  • Night shift
  • 36 hours per week
  • Typically every 3rd weekend
  • 1 holiday coverage expected
  • No on-call required, though rare call may be requested if staffing or census changes

Start Date

  • 8/17 or 9/21 only

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Ohio
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit (3 years of experience)
  • Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
  • Ventilator management experience
  • Cardiac drips experience
  • Heart catheterization recovery experience
  • Post-operative open heart patient care experience
  • Medical-surgical step-down patient care experience
  • CVRA - Cardiovascular Recovery Area experience
  • Experience with Epic

Work Expectations

  • May float to other units when needed due to low volume or staffing coverage issues

Additional Notes

  • Requested time off must be disclosed at submission to be honored
  • Contract dates and requested time off must match the confirmation page
