Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Post Partum experience within the last year
1 year of Post Partum experience
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient/family education
Document comprehensive assessments and ongoing patient responses
Coordinate and revise the plan of care based on patient needs and outcomes
Administer medications, perform procedures such as wound care and IV therapy, and use medical equipment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff
Support unit quality improvement, patient safety, and professional governance activities
Mentor staff and nursing students, and help orient new staff
