Description

MRI Technologist

Location: Dover, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Contract Clinician
Shift: 10-hour days
Hours per Week: 40
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Overview

Responsible for patient safety and performing high-quality MRI studies. The role includes patient communication, troubleshooting imaging equipment, and may involve training new technologists or patient coordinators.

Required Qualifications

Valid MRI Technologist license in New Hampshire
MRI Technologist (1 year of experience)
MRI Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (MR) or ARMIT
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NH State MRI License
High school diploma or GED

Preferred Experience

At least 1 year of MR experience in high-volume environments
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Key Skills

Operating designated vendor scanning equipment
Running advanced MR studies independently
Working in a self-directed environment
Managing customer interactions and resolving issues
Explaining medical terms and procedures clearly to non-medical patients

Additional Notes

Local travel may be required
