Contract

36 hours per week
12-hour night shifts

Required Qualifications

RN license
BLS certification
ACLS certification
2–3 years of experience in the specialty
Must live at least 75 miles from the hospital based on the address on the driver’s license

Job Details

Operating room with 19 suites
About 55–60 cases per day
One-week floor orientation
Weekend coverage is about once per quarter
Call is approximately every 7th weekend, with a 30-minute response time
Holidays are rotated with permanent staff
Scrubbing is not required but preferred
Travelers should be flexible, reliable, punctual, and able to work across most services within their competency

Clinical Environment

Full-service facility
Handles general surgical cases, robotics, some ortho/neuro trauma, and level 2 trauma-level function
No major pediatric cases, transplants, or C-sections in the main OR
Respiratory therapy and pharmacy are available 24/7
Ventilator recoveries mainly go to ICU

Scrub color is provided
Meditech is used for charting
