Albany, Georgia

Contract

  • 17 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • 12-hour night shifts

Required Qualifications

  • RN license
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • 2–3 years of experience in the specialty
  • Must live at least 75 miles from the hospital based on the address on the driver’s license

Job Details

  • Operating room with 19 suites
  • About 55–60 cases per day
  • One-week floor orientation
  • Weekend coverage is about once per quarter
  • Call is approximately every 7th weekend, with a 30-minute response time
  • Holidays are rotated with permanent staff
  • Scrubbing is not required but preferred
  • Travelers should be flexible, reliable, punctual, and able to work across most services within their competency

Clinical Environment

  • Full-service facility
  • Handles general surgical cases, robotics, some ortho/neuro trauma, and level 2 trauma-level function
  • No major pediatric cases, transplants, or C-sections in the main OR
  • Respiratory therapy and pharmacy are available 24/7
  • Ventilator recoveries mainly go to ICU

  • Scrub color is provided
  • Meditech is used for charting
