Registered Polysomnographic Technologist

Job Overview

Specialty: Pediatric Sleep Tech / Polysomnographic Technologist
Location: Fargo, North Dakota
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, Monday through Friday
Hours: 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Polysomnographer (2 years of experience)
Polysomnographer experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
RPSGT
Experience working with Neonate or Pediatric patients

Job Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic polysomnographic studies
Perform titration studies
Perform multiple sleep latency tests
Perform maintenance of wakefulness tests
Record and provide accurate data to physicians for diagnosis and treatment of sleep/wake disorders

Additional Details

Call is not required
Weekends are not required
The employee may be the only pediatric sleep tech on site, but other adult sleep techs will be scheduled
The unit has 2 pediatric beds
Dark gray scrubs are required
Computerized charting is used
Natus software is used for sleep studies
Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced client rate
