Registered Nurse, CVICU

Job Overview

Temp assignment
Location: McAllen, Texas
Shift: 12-hour nights
Schedule: 36 hours per week
Contract length: 12 weeks
Must live at least 100 miles away

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
CVICU (2 years of experience)
CVICU experience within the last year
NIHSS
BLS
ACLS
POD 0 Open Hearts experience
IABP experience
Impella experience

Role Expectations

Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to give expert analysis and assess patient conditions
Thorough knowledge of arrhythmia management, pathophysiology, and hemodynamics
Ability to communicate, coordinate, and delegate in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment
