Emergency Department Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Decatur, Illinois
- Night shift: 4x12s or 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- First-time travelers accepted
- Weekend work as needed
- Floating as needed to meet facility needs
- Local candidates accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- PALS
- TNCC
- Experience working with Adult patients
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Management of dysrhythmias
- Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- Procedural Sedation Administration
- Tele Interpretations
- Ventilators
Preferred
- Cerner experience
- Previous charge experience
Assignment Details
- 13-week contract
- 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio for all shifts
- Average daily census: 120
- 32-bed emergency department
Additional Notes
- On-call not required
- RTO ideally no more than 5 days
- Scrub color: royal blue
- Parking permit required; no cost
