Description
Registered Nurse — Emergency Department
Location
- Peoria, Illinois
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour evening shifts
Schedule
- Every other weekend
- Holidays as needed based on department needs
- No call requirement
- Floating is rare and, if needed, would be as a help-all on another unit
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- BLS
- ACLS
- ENPC or PALS
- TNCC or TNS
Experience
- 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- At least 1 prior travel assignment preferred
Clinical Setting
- Level 1 emergency department
- 65 private beds
- Typical patient population ranges from newborns to elderly patients, including critical care, stroke, heart attack, and trauma cases
- Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:3–5, depending on acuity
Additional Notes
- Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted
- Negative drug screen required
- Submission requires the last four digits of SSN, middle initial, and requested time off
