RN PACU

Overview

• Location: Grayling, Michigan
• Employment type: LTA
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Variable days with rotating night call
• Weekend coverage: 1 in 5
• On-call: 1 in 5 weekdays, nights
• Guaranteed hours: None
• Overtime: After 40 hours

Role Summary

• Rotation between pre-op, post-op, and recovery (PACU)
• Responsibilities include same-day surgery admissions, IVs, discharges, and patient education

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (1 year of experience)
• PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License

• License verification showing a valid, unrestricted, unencumbered Michigan RN license
• Resume, skills checklist, and contact information
• Two professional references from a manager, supervisor, or charge role
• Social Security card
