RN - Telemetry

Location

Jeffersonville, Indiana

Schedule

Night shift
12 hours per day
36 hours per week
Shift time: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
Every other weekend

Contract Length

13 weeks

Role Summary

Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care
Supervises licensed and non-licensed staff
Provides patient and family education, mentoring/precepting, and supports quality improvement and regulatory compliance

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
2 years of telemetry experience
Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS certification
NIHSS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in an inpatient setting
Experience with Epic

Key Responsibilities

Perform assessments and reassessments
Initiate, prioritize, implement, and revise the plan of care
Monitor and document response to clinical interventions
Coordinate and provide patient/family education
Delegate tasks and support teamwork and process improvement
